Mustard Painteed Windsors SOLD

This assembled set of painted thumb back Windsor chairs retains the original mustard paint and original  decoration on the crest and ears. One of the chairs has a wider seat; perhaps for a man. The back of one of the chairs is not as canted as the others. The paint decorated seats and the stenciled and freehand decorated crests are the same on all of the chairs. The name Hobbs is under the seat of 2 chairs and Sh is on another one. These chairs date to the early 19th century, 1820-1840.
