This large swing handle painted basket is form the Taghkanic region in New York State. It retains the original blue paint with a flower painted on each side. The bottom is a “demijohn” or raised bottom that helped distribute contents and reduce bruising. The condition is very good with only two pieces of the rim wrap missing. Out of a long time collection.
